Enrolment
How a family joins Doon Forest
Four simple steps, no pressure, and no fee to be on the waitlist. It starts with a tour and ends with your child settling in alongside educators who already know their name.
The steps
- 1
Book a free tour
Come and walk through during a regular day, in person or virtually. You will see real rooms and meet the educators. Bring your questions.
- 2
Join the waitlist
If it feels like a fit, join the waitlist for your child's age group and target start date. There is no fee. Sibling priority applies where space allows.
- 3
We reach out when a spot opens
When an opening matches your child's room and start date, we contact you to confirm. Openings go to the child who fits the specific spot.
- 4
Enrol and settle in
We complete enrolment paperwork together and plan a gentle start, including a settling-in plan for the first week.
Find your child's room first
Enter their birthday and we will point you to the right program before you book.
This is a guide based on age today. Final placement depends on availability and your child's start date.
Admissions questions
How do I start the enrolment process?
Book a free tour. After the tour, if it feels like a fit, you join the waitlist for your child's room and target start date. There is no fee to be on the list.
What should I bring on a tour?
Just yourself and your questions, and your child if you would like. It helps to know your target start date and your child's birthday so we can talk about the right room.
How does waitlist priority work?
Priority generally goes to siblings of enrolled children, then to children who match a specific opening's age and start date. An exact match can move ahead of an earlier application that does not fit the opening.
Is there a registration fee?
There is no fee to join the waitlist. Any enrolment details and deposits are explained clearly at the point of enrolment, with no surprises.
Can I enrol part-time?
It depends on the room and availability. Tell us the days you need on the waitlist form and we will let you know what is possible.
